Background
I am a Judicial activist who has rallied against the money-driven courts and the fraud-imputing Family Court attorneys who are depleting our and our children's assets. I founded the grassroots organization "Coalition For Family Law Reform," and have contributed articles to numerous publications, including the News Journal and the Delaware State News.
Platform
Neither Reps. Wayne Smith (R) nor David Brady (D) are responsive
to voter's rights when they ignore the Constitution in
sponsoring / voting for bills. For instance:
-
Smith's sponsoring of HJR 7 is an extreme example of victimizing the homeowner, where a broken pane of window glass can force incarceration;
-
neither Smith nor Brady have addressed the issue of gross receipts tax, which closely resembles a hidden "sales" tax, generating revenue to the state, but absorbed by the consumer (as an additional eye opener, check out some high-ticket items in neighboring states, e.g. computers, ceiling fans, to see how many are more expensive in Delaware).
ENFORCE the "good" rights-protecting laws on the books, and apply them consistently and without discrimination, whether they are in the area of:
-
corporate pollution,
-
residential code violations, or
-
school tax increases, which were unconscionably used to pay for the white collar violations that top school administrators allowed, while concomitantly allowing the schools themselves to deteriorate physically and educationally.
-
Open Family Court -- a secret, closed court in violation of the Delaware Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, where litigants are being irreversibly harmed by the taking of assets and children without scrutiny. Neighboring states' Family Courts are open, e.g. Philadelphia.
My position is that we do not need the "layering" of even more laws as an excuse for our officials' failure to enforce existing law. We must rescind bad laws, and always be vigilant by questioning why existing constitutional laws are being ignored or replaced. I need your help to help me enforce -- and sponsor -- "good" Constitutional law.
If our Judicial and Legislative arms were responsive to ensuring the people's rights, as the United States Constitution enumerates and guarantees, then the judicial and legislative systems would not be the money-driven, discriminatory, and rights-gutting systems they have become, even before 9-11. If the U.S. Constitution were conscientiously adhered to, those very same judicial and legislative arms would be RIGHTS-protecting, consistent, and FREEDOM-loving, especially when threatened by outside enemies -- and there would be no need for the "restrictive" laws currently being foisted upon innocent citizens.
