Platform

I am the best candidate for US Senate for those seeking to decrease the size and intrusiveness of government at all levels. If elected I will pursue my platform points, and take seriously the oath of office to protect, preserve and defend the constitution.

The Senate has jurisdiction over consideration of all congressional legislation. This leaves non-congressional legislation - law made by agencies to which congress has delegated rule making power. I am against this, as this places law making power beyond the reach of the voters. Among other points, I seek to decrease or eliminate the delegation of legal power outside congress, eliminate federal income tax to force many budget decisions back to the states where they belong, and to attempt to arrange for a people's power to veto legislation.

I am not seeking contributions. While this may be a practical difficulty, I am against the financing of elections as presently done. The incumbent is reported to receive over half of his financing from out of state, and now some from overseas interests. This causes legitimate doubt as to where his loyalties lie as contributors usually expect something for their money, even if only face time to lobby for their own causes.
