Today, the News Journal voters guide was published. I hope my picture, with others, on the cover will prompt readers to give thoughtful consideration to my answers.
Our David Okner (22nd rep) did an excellent job answering questions.
Many thanks to George Jurgensen for taking me to the 10/25 BOSCOV'S candidate forum. I had the pleasure of answering a question about the federal Department of Education employees: "They should be reassigned or fired - just get them out of there".
In my campaign, I've been saying that large cuts in spending are needed to help avoid a dangerous financial situation for our children and grandchildren. I give two examples: Government grants ($426 billion in 2005) and federal Department of Education ($71 billion in 2005). I hope you will point the finger at these examples. Repetition is the key to advertising.
Thanks to Tom Uffner for adding my "Harm done by the War on Drugs" (list of 13 harms) to de.lp.org
I have learned that only a small percentage of people thinks about the harm. Therefore, it is worthwhile to publicize this (or a similar) list so that more people will realize how harmful the War on Drugs really is. Only then, will they address the question: "Does the War on Drugs do more harm than good?".
Welcome to Ian King, a Deltech student, He contacted me about The Fair Tax, then I learned he wants to help the Libertarians. Excellent!!
If Jim Holliday or George Jurgensen has a longer list than I do, please feel free to forward this to their list. To avoid clutter, I hope Jim and George will communicate to determine who has the longer list.
